At Joshua Ministries, we believe in transforming lives by empowering women through skill development and financial independence. Our Sewing Center is one such initiative aimed at providing training to women, equipping them with the necessary skills to sew clothes professionally. This program is designed to help them gain self-sufficiency, enabling them to earn a stable income for their families.

Vision and Mission

Our mission is to empower women by teaching them sewing and tailoring skills, allowing them to work from their homes and support their families financially. Many women in our communities lack formal education and employment opportunities, making it difficult for them to contribute economically. Through this initiative, we aim to uplift them and help them become independent, skilled, and self-reliant.

Training Program

The Sewing Center offers a comprehensive training program, covering both basic and advanced sewing techniques. The course includes:

Basic Stitching Techniques – Understanding fabric, handling a sewing machine, and practicing basic stitches.

Garment Cutting and Designing – Learning measurements, pattern making, and cutting fabric for different outfits.

Traditional and Modern Dressmaking – Sewing various types of clothing, from traditional dresses to modern outfits.

Embroidery and Decorative Stitching – Adding beautiful hand-crafted embroidery to enhance designs.

Business and Marketing Skills – Teaching women how to market their sewing skills, manage customer orders, and establish their own small business from home.
